Included in each Easy as My PC kit is a full set of assembly instructions. Our instructions are written in plain English and are fully diagramed with photographs of the exact parts that you have purchased.
We employ technicians to select our hardware configurations, but we don’t ask them to write our instructions. Instead, we hire accomplished writers to author our assembly instructions who have made careers of communicating non-technical topics.
It’s our belief that simple, clear text coupled with before assembly, during assembly and after assembly photographs make it possible for just about anyone to assemble a PC successfully.
The following steps summarize the assembly process, but certainly do not represent the level of detail supported by the full instructions that are included in each kit.
10-Step Easy As My PC Assembly Process:
- Get the only tool you will need: 1 Philips Head Screwdriver
- Set up a clean, flat workspace away from foods, liquids and pets
- Seat the Processor and RAM in the motherboard, and mount processor cooling device
- Open the case, and mount the mother board on the case chassis
- Mount the power supply, and rout the power cables into the main compartment
- Mount hard drive(s) and optical drive(s) onto drive rails, and slide into chassis
- Insert cards into motherboard (e.g., graphics card(s), TV card, Modem)
- Connect the drive cables, power cables and monitor(s)
- Plug it in, boot it up, and set the CMOS settings
- Load the operating system and close the case
Each of these 10 Steps is fully explained in text and photographs in the assembly instructions included in each kit.
